The community comes together each December season for a traditional Christmas in the Village, sponsored by the Albion Chamber of Commerce. In addition to a Light Parade, Santa comes to town to meet the children and hear their holiday wishes.
Christmas in the Village will return to historic downtown Albion on Friday, December 2. The Christmas Lights Parade begins at 6:00 PM, made possible by Albion Chamber of Commerce members.
The theme this year is "Christmas Movies". Local families, businesses, and organizations are encouraged to light up their vehicles, clothing, horse, motorcycle, ATV, etc., to drive, walk, and ride in the parade. Prizes are awarded for best entries based on representation of the theme.
