Shop Small Business Saturday in Albion!

While big-box stores own Black Friday and online giants dominate Cyber Monday, there is a special day dedicated entirely to the heartbeat of our community: Small Business Saturday!

Falling on the Saturday right after Thanksgiving—November 28, 2026—this nationwide movement encourages everyone to channel their holiday shopping back into the independent shops and restaurants that make our community unique.

Shopping small isn't just about finding one-of-a-kind gifts; it directly builds our community. Here is why it matters:

• Keeps money local: An average of 68 cents of every dollar spent at a local small business stays right here in our community.

• Spurs local activity: Every dollar spent creates an additional $0.48 in local economic activity.

• Funds public services: Local tax revenue goes directly toward supporting our neighborhood schools, parks, and first responders.

To help you support and celebrate locally-owned businesses, the Albion Chamber of Commerce announces a Small Business Saturday event!

Collect Stamps to Win!

On November 28 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., you can pick up a card (or print your own from the image below) at a participating location, then visit as many of the local businesses listed as you can. Collect a "stamp" at each location you visit, then drop off your completed card at The Fox Den coffee shop on the square in Albion. Your card will enter you into a prize drawing! Fill your entire card by collecting stamps at all 15 locations for a chance to win the Grand Prize basket! All prizes are donated by participating and local businesses.

Thank you for shopping local this holiday season! 🎅🎁🎄
